Disney + has a new Marvel series dropping this month and you’d never know it. Ironheart drops on June 24th and we can remember a time when any Marvel project would get six weeks of promo time before launch date, but we’ve barely seen or heard from the cast. This would appear to be less of a comment on Ironheart’s quality as it is on Disney’s commitment to producing MCU TV series, which is waning after a series of disappointments. Personally, we kinda think they should have positioned the debut of the inheritor of Iron Man’s mantle a little closer to his onscreen death, but that was six years ago and the MCU has been floundering ever since. But that’s all beside the point, which is that Ironheart star Dominique Thorne is out doing promo work in a slightly goofy dress.
It would be a perfectly cute dress if she just ripped off that one panel at the neckline. It just looks like she’s got napkin tied around her neck. We’d also recommend getting rid of the flowers, not just because we don’t like them, but also because they look like they’re about to make a run for it.
